I’ve been working on Haikus again. Trying to improve each time I sit down and write them. I think the big area for improvement would be in the poem’s focus. These four haikus are still too broad. I’ve been having trouble focusing on a specific moment in time. The next time that I write haikus I’m going to try and focus on a meaningful moment generated from the theme. With that being said, I hope you like them!
Winter:
Short days, long nights, loneliness
Will it ever end?
Spring:
Sun shines brighter, warmer days
Life begins again
Fall:
Days begin hot, then go cold
Hibernation soon
Rain:
A feeling like no other
A special moment
