There are three things that everyone can do to have a ‘better’ life.
Let’s define better as happier and healthier.
FYI these are not original ideas but information I’ve gleaned from other sources and implemented into my own life resulting in positive impacts.
- Exercise. Make this your top priority. The number one thing that can improve mood and health in the shortest amount of time with the most impact is exercising.
- Meditation/mindfulness. Both meditation and mindfulness are linked to improved cognitive function. Also, from personal experience, it’s helped me slow the frequency of thoughts down and essentially quiet the mind
- Cold exposure. Nothing reduces stress and anxiety like a cold shower. Try worrying about anything when you’re freezing your butt off. Spoiler alert it’s, not possible.
Implementing any of these three things will impact your life positively and have the potential to make your life ‘better.’
This is especially true if you are looking to improve your happiness and your health.
